İsmail KARAKAYA

He graduated from Middle East Technical Univesity, Department of Economics in 1982. He got his postgraduate degree at the American University-Washington D.C. He started his career as Sworn-in Bank Auditor at the Ministry of Finance 1982 and continued until 1993. In 1991, he worked at International Audit Department of World Bank. He conducted a series of audits on World Bank policies and their implementation procedures. Besides, he received education on modern audit techniques and technologies.

Between 1993 and 1995 he worked as General Accounting Manager in Halkbank. In 1995 he assigned to Turkish Privatization Administration as Deputy President and in 1996 as President.

Since 1998, he has been working as Sworn-in CPA and independent auditor. He is the audit director at Birleşim Neks Bağımsız Denetim A.Ş.. He is a fluent speaker of English.
